About The Perch

The Perch is not just one of Oxford’s oldest and most charming pubs—it’s a destination. Nestled by the River Thames on Port Meadow, our 17th-century thatched-roof public house blends centuries-old tradition with a modern, vibrant kitchen. We’re renowned for our warm welcome, family and dog-friendly ethos, and our ability to host everything from relaxed afternoons in the garden to unforgettable events in our custom-built marquee.

Now, we’re searching for a creative, passionate, and experienced Junior Sous Chef to assist and complement our Senior Management team.

You’re an experienced Sous Chef looking for a change or a Chef de Partie looking for a first role in kitchen management.
