Mid Level

You will lead a team of 13 direct reports and 4 in-direct and operational activities defined to your area, some of which include overall safe operation of plant and equipment, safety, quality, waste and OEE targets and people management. You’ll ensure that process control checks and records are completed to company standards and escalation and management of quality incidents through a non-conformance process, guaranteeing all affected products or material is contained/controlled.

Requirements

  • Lead the site Engineering Maintenance team to deliver production plans, service levels & engineering strategy within quality, safety, and cost parameters.
  • Responsible for Major Incident Reports (MIR) and work with peers to get to the root cause of significant/complex equipment failures and ensure that robust countermeasures are put in place.
  • Implement & deliver the engineering strategy that will develop and drive reliability, and improve quality, safety, and asset utilisation via all direct & indirect reports
  • Implement best practice maintenance principles for maintenance
  • Day to day site management inclusive of Engineering systems, structures, resources and processes, and ways of working
  • Responsible for the delivery of engineering KPI’s that complement manufacturing performance, manufacturing KPI’s, and objectives
  • Complete a variety of different projects
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors in order to meet production / maintenance deadlines
  • Recognise best practices from within and outside the business and work with stakeholders in helping to implement these across the business whilst supporting continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coach and develop direct reports. Monitor and improve performance through appraisal, performance management, and personal development plans to ensure that their full potential is realised
