The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the property’s facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with brand standards. This role performs routine maintenance, urgent repairs, preventative servicing, and guest‑requested assistance to maintain a clean, functional, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Requirements

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment failures, minor malfunctions, and general building issues.
  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas remain in good working order.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and safety systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, pumps, refrigeration, air-conditioning units, and other machinery.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and inspections.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and fire regulations.
  • Support compliance with hotel brand standards, building codes, and maintenance policies.
  • Report hazards, deficiencies, and equipment failures to management promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining the exterior grounds, including lighting, walkways, landscaping support, and signage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance workshops, storage areas, and plant rooms.
  • Support setup and maintenance for hotel events and operational needs.
  • Provide friendly, professional assistance when handling guest maintenance requests.
  • Enter guest rooms courteously and complete repairs with minimal disruption.
