The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is critical to our operations – they keep vital machinery running at all times. As an RME Technician, you will maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding best Health and Safety practices. You will help keep your colleagues safe and prevent machine downtime. Our RME Technicians increase the availability and quality of our equipment and also work to improve the operational environment.

Requirements

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in an operational distribution center.
• Utilize the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness.
• Maintain all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of apprentices on site.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and implement best practices across various sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of planned preventative maintenance on sites’ equipment to ensure it is running safely.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible.
• Make suggestions for long-term improvements.
• Carry out daily maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with contractors if external expertise is needed.
