Requirements

• Experience of working with children
• Full and relevant Level 3 in childcare
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (Great to have)
• FGM (Great to have)
• Safeguarding (Great to have)
• Paediatric First Aid (Great to have)
• Good verbal and written communication skills with adults and children
• Great planning and organisation skills
• Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Help provide high standards of care and education to meet the individual needs of the children
• Provide play based learning opportunities for all children
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain positive working relationships with the team, parents and carers
• Report issues of concern to a senior team member
• Ensure high levels of interaction with children in order to help extend their learning
• Support children at mealtimes ensuring these provide a positive social experience for the children
• Provide support for children who are transitioning to new settings
• Help children with feeding, changing clothes, nappies, toileting etc
