Requirements
- Experience of working with children
- Full and relevant Level 3 in childcare
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (Great to have)
- FGM (Great to have)
- Safeguarding (Great to have)
- Paediatric First Aid (Great to have)
- Good verbal and written communication skills with adults and children
- Great planning and organisation skills
- Willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Help provide high standards of care and education to meet the individual needs of the children
- Provide play based learning opportunities for all children
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain positive working relationships with the team, parents and carers
- Report issues of concern to a senior team member
- Ensure high levels of interaction with children in order to help extend their learning
- Support children at mealtimes ensuring these provide a positive social experience for the children
- Provide support for children who are transitioning to new settings
- Help children with feeding, changing clothes, nappies, toileting etc
