As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere. You will conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism. You will monitor access points, CCTV, and handle security procedures. You will respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed. You will complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns. You will assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required. You will adapt to different client sites, respond calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns, and work as part of a diverse, supportive team.

Requirements

• To hold a current DS SIA Licence
• Proven experience in a security role or a similar position
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
