£28,273 - £42,665 per annum pro rata

The Role

As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Hair and Beauty programmes within the School of Customer Services Industries. This includes a strong focus on retention, pass rates and student achievement alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered.

What we are looking for

You should possess a minimum of a level 3 qualification in hair and a level 2 or above qualification in Barbering. You must also have level 2 qualifications in English and Math’s or equivalent. You should have a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to obtain within two years of employment). You should also have experience of teaching across different levels of Hair and Barbering programmes in a Further Education environment and current industrial experience and up to date knowledge of current industrial practice. You should also have an A1 Assessors Qualification or Equivalent and a V1 Internal Quality Assurance Award or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
