To guarantee finished goods storage and loading preparation in compliance with:

- Safety guidelines
- Product safety
- ISO 9001 standards
The Role

We are currently looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our logistics team as a Finished Goods Warehouse Operative. You will be working at our Rothley site, near Leicester.

The successful candidate will work with a team of driven individuals to manage goods storage in the warehouse and prepare loading areas to fulfil high production demands in compliance with:

Main Responsibilities
- Move pallets around the facility and stack them in the correct storage bay
- Manage warehouse extraordinary operations in line with system requirements and work instructions
- Prepare the loading area in compliance with the loading schedule documents and sign it
- Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
- Load trucks if required
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
- Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
- Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
- Maintain equipment guaranteeing daily functioning in line with work instructions
- Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
- Guarantee warehouse space optimization
- Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
- Carry out any other reasonable request and support colleagues as needed
- Ensure a high level of housekeeping in the working area throughout the shift
- Ensure compliance with health & safety rules
Additional Skills/Requirements
- Valid and in-date FLT licence (Counterbalance / Reach / Clamp, as applicable)
- Proven experience operating FLT in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong awareness of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work
- Ability to follow:
- SOPs
- OPLs
- Site-specific safety rules
- Good housekeeping standards (5S / lean principles desirable)

Tuesday to Saturday, 06:00–14:00
