The Role: 1-to-1 Learning Support Assistant

We seek a passionate, committed professional to provide 1-to-1 support for children, particularly those with additional needs. Your role will involve:

  • Working closely with pupils to unlock their full potential, fostering confidence and progress.
  • Demonstrating patience, motivational skills, and a commitment to inclusion.
  • Tailoring support to individual needs—going the extra mile to make a difference.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SLT, and external agencies (where applicable).
  • Adhering to safeguarding policies and maintaining child welfare standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience (or preference) in a 1-to-1 support or similar school role.
  • A warm, approachable demeanour with children and adults.
  • Strong organisational skills and practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to professional development within an ** Trust framework**.

Contract Details

  • Salary: £24,796 per annum (pro rata).
  • Hours: 30.8 hours/week, 38 weeks/year (including term-time only).
  • Timing: Monday–Friday, 8:35am–3:15pm (30-minute lunch break).
  • Contract: Fixed-term, initially until 31 August 2027.
  • Reference: 5247
