About This Role
An exciting opportunity to support the most vulnerable learners at both Primary and Secondary levels, through providing high quality support to pupils who are unable to access full-time education due to Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA), medical needs, risk of permanent exclusion, or other reasons requiring alternative provision. The service will provide consistent, high-quality, safe, and timely tuition for pupils experiencing persistent absence or educational instability.
We are seeking staff who would be willing to provide tutoring alongside their current role or who are looking for a new challenge at an exciting time for Maiden Erlegh Trust. Applications are welcomed from qualified and unqualified teachers, both primary, secondary or special school experienced. We are happy to consider a range of working patterns, including full-time, part-time, and flexible arrangements, depending on suitability and service needs. We are also keen to hear from candidates of all subject areas, including a pastoral background.
About Cranbury College
Cranbury College is a Alternative Education provider for young people ranging from 5-16 years old. We support learners who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings and provide preventative support to those who are at risk of permanent exclusion. Additionally, we support those that unintentionally exclude themselves from education and children who cannot access school for medical reasons. We are a multi-site organisation which includes our Primary provision, based at College Road and Secondary provision, based at Cranbury Road. We have Outreach teams that provide specialist support within schools and a Hospital Teaching Service based at Royal Berkshire Hospital who provide education to children on short and long term stays. Cranbury College is a fast paced, energetic setting where we pride ourselves on a strong team ethic, always working together to create a nurturing and supportive setting for our student's alternative pathway to success.

About The Trust
Maiden Erlegh Trust is committed to developing a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative community of highly effective schools that deliver excellent education opportunities for the children and young people of the communities we serve. Through our work we will ensure that our children are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to deal with the demands of an ever-changing world.
