1:1 Learning Support Assistant | Ealing
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain meaningful experience in education before pursuing teacher training or a career in educational psychology?
A caring and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support for a child with additional learning needs while developing valuable experience within a supportive primary school.
About the Role
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with one pupil throughout the school day, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development. The successful 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will work alongside the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implement personalised strategies that enable the child to access learning and thrive in the classroom.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Previous experience working with children through tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, coaching, or school-based roles would be advantageous.
