Salary:
Grade 2 SCP 3 (£24,796.00) FTE AYR – to be pro rata
Actual salary: £14,462.47 - £14,789.57 per annum
5 days, 25 hours per week, 39 weeks (TTO + Training Days)

Role Description
We are looking to recruit a fixed term Level 1 Teaching Assistant for a Key Stage 2 child who requires consistent 1:1 adult support throughout the school day to access learning, maintain engagement and support emotional regulation. This provision is delivered in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCo. The dedicated Teaching Assistant provides adaptive scaffolding, supports understanding and task completion, and helps to develop independence. In addition, the adult facilitates positive social interaction and supports the child in building and maintaining relationships with peers. Support is required across both structured lessons and less structured times, including transitions, playtimes and lunchtimes to ensure consistent participation in the school environment.
