We’re looking for experienced freelance tutors with a proven track record in successfully preparing students to pass the 11+ to join our growing community of educators.

Our students use Atom Home, our award-winning adaptive learning platform. They practise between lessons, and tutors get data-driven insights into strengths and areas for improvement, so your sessions can focus on what matters most.

What you'll do

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 online tutorials for students preparing for the 11+
  • Use insights from the Atom platform to tailor your sessions
  • Support students to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and exam technique
  • Maintain communication with parents and the Atom Client Management Team
  • Complete short lesson reports after sessions

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience
  • Strong experience preparing students for the 11+ with a proven track record of helping students secure places at selective schools (grammar and/or independent)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 UK National Curriculum and 11+ content and exam boards
  • Strong academic background
  • Currently studying at university or a graduate
  • Able to tutor at least 4 hours per week
  • Able to commit for at least 1 year

Atom Learning operates as an employment business and engages tutors on a self-employed basis under a contract for services. Tutors are responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance contributions.
