1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Streatham – September

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to build experience in education and SEND? This 1:1 Learning Support Assistant opportunity in Streatham starts in September and offers £120 per day within a highly regarded all-through academy serving pupils aged 4–18. Role Responsibilities

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, provide dedicated support for a pupil with SEND, helping them access learning and achieve personal targets. The 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will:

  • Adapt resources
  • Implement support strategies
  • Promote independence both inside and outside the classroom

Approximately 22% of pupils receive SEN Support, while the school also hosts a specialist Speech, Language and Communication provision.

Requirements

The successful 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will ideally hold a Psychology degree or a related subject and have a genuine interest in SEND. Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism, speech and language needs or SEMH needs is highly desirable.
