Teaching Assistant (EHCP Support)

Are you a Teaching Assistant who is calm, patient and passionate about helping children thrive?

At Beaminster St Mary's Academy, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), while also contributing to the wider life of our school.

We Are Looking For a Teaching Assistant Who

  • Enjoys working one-to-one with children with additional needs, including those with ASD, ADHD or communication and interaction needs
  • Is calm, patient, nurturing and understanding
  • Has experience of, or an interest in, supporting children in the Early Years and/or Key Stage 1
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Is flexible, resilient and able to adapt to individual pupil needs
  • Has a creative and solution-focused approach
  • Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children
  • Shares the school's values and commitment to inclusion
  • Can support learning both individually and in small groups
