My Challenger Bank client is recruiting for an experienced Business Analytics & Reporting candidate to join them for a 12 Month FTC role:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of management reporting for the lending business, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Take ownership of key datasets and management information processes, maintaining robust data governance, quality standards, and reporting controls.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, reforecasts, and business plans to support performance management, strategic planning, and commercial decision-making.
  • Produce regulatory, audit, and risk reporting, providing comprehensive analysis, reporting packs, and supporting documentation to meet governance requirements.
  • Conduct detailed ad hoc analysis on complex business issues, transforming data into meaningful insights and recommendations for senior management.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality and reporting issues, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control frameworks.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on business change initiatives, including system implementations, reporting enhancements, process optimisation, and platform development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, communicating complex financial, analytical, and operational information clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Previous experience or knowledge of running/managing year-end/audit cycles is essential
  • Experience in working with large data sets
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent technology skills
  • Lending experience is desirable
