Job Summary
We are seeking a curious and driven individual to join our eFX Tech team as a Business Analyst Intern. This role offers significant exposure to electronic FX trading systems, front office business, engineers, and data specialists. Over the course of 12 months, you will gain deep expertise in eFX products, firsthand experience with AI in financial markets and develop essential skills for a career in financial technology. Core requirements for this role include a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help define product and project requirements, articulating the why, the risk, and the value behind every change
- Partner with front office users, analysts, and ops teams to identify real problems worth solving
- Contribute to the roadmap and strategic direction of products and streams, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Champion business viability by ensuring that the team focuses on building the right solutions
- Collaborate with developers in an Agile environment to scope solutions, iterate quickly, and ship meaningful improvements
- Utilize AI to document existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose smarter ways of working
- Assess the impact of changes on the business and contribute to continuous improvement
- Assist in testing and validating new features and system enhancements, identifying risks and supporting implementation
- Provide support for daily operations and troubleshooting across our eFX platform, gaining comprehensive system knowledge
- Leverage AI tools to enhance outcome quality and drive productivity gains within the team

Candidate criteria
Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent
Experience
Background in quantitative or analytical work from education, projects, or professional experience
Experience working both independently and collaboratively on projects with defined deadlines and goals
Required Skills
- A sharp analytical mind capable of identifying patterns and solving problems.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging across technical and business functions.
- Proactive and independent, with the initiative to take on tasks without waiting for direction.
