Qualifications & Experience
All candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience working as a 12AB General Operative (or equivalent)
- Lantra-approved Traffic Management qualifications
- Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Right to Work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points)
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up, maintaining, and removing Traffic Management sites while complying with NHSS (National Highways Safety Standards)
- Reporting near-miss incidents and any necessary updates to Site or Operation Managers
- Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings
- Ensuring staff follow safe and effective working practices to meet operational quality standards
- Maintaining 100% compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
- Adhering to provided Risk Assessments (RAMS) and procedure documents
- Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing traffic management equipment
- Following Method Statements for workplace safety
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting plant/vehicle defects promptly
