About the Role
Pinson TM are collaborating with the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to increased demand, they are urgently recruiting for:
- Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives

Key Responsibilities (12AB General Operative)
Operatives will be responsible for:

Site management including:
- Setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic management sites in compliance with NHSS (National Highways Specifications)
- Reporting near misses and any necessary updates to Site/Operation Managers

Technical work:
- Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings

Operational compliance:
- Ensuring the team works safely and efficiently for optimal output and high-quality performance
- Strict adherence to the Health & Safety at Work Act

Health, safety & reporting:
- Full compliance with provided RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statement)
- Safe supervision of vehicle unloading/loading for traffic management equipment
- Following safe working practices as outlined in Method Statements
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any plant/vehicle defects
Essential Requirements
1. Experience
Candidates must have prior experience in the following roles (with evidence of qualifications preferred):

- 12AB General Operative (or related Traffic Management roles)
2. Technical & Workplace Skills
- Qualifications:
- Must hold Lantra-approved Traffic Management Qualifications
- Driver requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (with 6 points or fewer on license)
- Right to Work in the UK confirmed
- Health & safety compliance:
- Pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Must pass initial and regular safety assessments

Candidates should demonstrate: ✅ Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced traffic management environment ✅ Strong commitment to health and safety regulations ✅ Physical fitness required to carry out duties in various weather conditions
