Role Requirements
We are seeking both operatives and drivers with traffic management experience. This is an opportunity to join one of our leading traffic management clients.
All candidates must have experience in one or more of the following roles:
- M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role
Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will:
- Work with direct labour and sub-contract labour
- Meet targets and deadlines on time
Key Duties Include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads as required
- Managing traffic flow at temporary traffic lights, ensuring compliance
- Reporting necessary observations to site/operations managers
- Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic
- Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings
- Maintaining traffic management measures within required time scales
- Setting up traffic lights
- Assisting with traffic diversions
- Ensuring the team operates safely and efficiently for optimum output

Health & Safety Compliance:
- Strict adherence to the Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
- Awareness and compliance with provided Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS)
- Reporting any plant and vehicle defects
- Safe execution of unloading/loading tasks per Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Skills & Experience
Mandatory qualifications and checks:
- Lantra training & approved traffic management qualifications
- Must pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Valid UK Right to Work proof
- Full UK Driving Licence (with no more than 6 penalty points)
