What We Are Looking For
We are seeking qualified and experienced Traffic Management Operatives and drivers with hands-on expertise in traffic management.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s most reputable traffic management businesses.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience in one or more of the following:

Scope of the Role
As an Operative, you’ll work with both direct labour and sub-contracted teams, ensuring timely completion of tasks to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights at designated roads.
- Managing traffic flow around temporary lights, ensuring public compliance.
- Reporting site or operational concerns to the site/operations manager.
- Maintaining reliability, dependability, and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
- Setting up and removing traffic control systems within required timelines.
- Supporting traffic diversions as necessary.
- Ensuring the team works safely and efficiently for optimal results.
- Strict adherence to the Health & Safety at Work Act.

- Following Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all tasks.
- Assisting with unloading/loading of materials.
- Conducting safe working practices under all operational procedures.
- Reporting plant/vehicle defects promptly.
Essential Qualifications & Compliance:
- 12D or M5 qualification (approximately 5 days) through Lantra-accredited training.
- Must pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
