What We Are Looking For
We are seeking Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.
Requirements: All candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:
- M5 Operative
Scope of Role: Qualified Traffic Management Operative
Duties & Responsibilities
Operatives will collaborate with both direct labour and Sub-contract labour, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights at required road locations
- Managing traffic flow at temporary traffic lights to ensure public compliance
- Reporting any necessary incidents to the site or operations manager
Safety & Compliance
- Reliable dependable team player with a positive attitude
- Driving experience, ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
- Maintaining and removing traffic management solutions within specified timeframes
- Setting up and operating traffic light systems
- Assisting with traffic diversions
Key Operational Requirements
- Ensuring safe and effective teamwork to maximise output and quality standards
- Full compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
- Adherence to provided RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements)
- Ancillary tasks such as unloading/loading materials
- Strict observance of safe working practices, as outlined in:
- Method Statements
- Risk Assessments
- Reporting defects on plant & vehicles

Qualifications & Checks
- Certifications: 12D M5 Lantra Approved Qualification
- Must pass:
- A Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Right to Work in the UK verification
