Mandatory Requirements
All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following roles:
- M5 Operative

Scope of Role
Operatives will be required to:

Work with both direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time

Perform duties including:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights at roadworks as required
- Managing traffic flow at temp traffic lights and ensuring the public complies with instructions
- Reporting critical incidents to site or operations manager
- Displaying reliability, dependability, and a good attitude toward work
- Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings
- Maintaining and removing traffic management installations within required timelines
- Setting up traffic lights
- Assisting with traffic diversions

- Work safely and efficiently as a team, ensuring:
- Optimum output and adherence to quality standards
- Strict compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act
- Awareness and adherence to provided RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements)
- Safe working practices outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Reporting plant & vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications & Legal Compliance
- Hold a valid 12D M5 Lantra Approved Qualification
- Pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Have the Right to Work in the UK -Be a strong Team Player
