Company Description
Formed in 1926, Edinburgh University Women's Lacrosse Club is one of the largest lacrosse clubs in the UK, with a total of four teams competing in BUCS as well as a growing beginners programme and mixed recreational team. The club plays in BUCS matches on Wednesdays, as well as competing in the Scottish League on weekends.
Training frequency and timings vary between teams, so there's a commitment level right for everyone!
Aside from being a successful club on the pitch, we also have a great social calendar, with fortnightly socials including highlights of the Christmas Curry and the annual Lacrosse Ball.

We are looking to hire a new coach for next year.

In this role, you will coach our 1s and 2s teams with one other coach, two evenings a week (days to be confirmed later). With our 1st team competing in Prem 1, the highest league in university lacrosse, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a club with strong ambitions, a clear player development pathway, and a promising future.
The 1st and 2nd Team Coach role is a position based in Edinburgh. The coach will plan and deliver high-quality training sessions for the 1st and 2nd teams, focusing on player development, team tactics, and performance improvement.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated lacrosse coaching experience, ideally at university or club level, with knowledge of current tactics and best practice in women’s lacrosse.
- Experience planning and delivering structured training sessions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate players and provide clear feedback.
