Job Title: 1st Line Support Engineer Apprentice
Location: Highbury Campus
Salary: £15,434.33 - £16,379.68 Full Time Equivalent per annum
Hours of work: 37 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year, Apprenticeship

About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and resilient individual to join our IT team as an Apprentice. You will be delivering high-quality customer support by troubleshooting issues, providing expertise, supporting the wider IT Team.
This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in IT Support in a bustling College, supporting the development of core skills needed to protect digital systems and information. You will work closely with experienced IT professionals, gaining real-world exposure to areas such as identifying cyber threats, responding to incidents, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting compliance with data protection and security requirements across teaching and learning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing phone/remote support & assistance
- Excellent customer care
- Desktop Support
- Hardware Repairs
- Software Installation
- Projector, cabling, troubleshooting
- Assisting in projects and IT activities as required
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- Evidence of commitment to professional development
- A good standard of Maths and English
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Background in IT
