1st Line IT Support Engineer

Trailblaze IT have been providing IT services to SMBs & the education sector for over 11 years. We are looking for an experienced 1st line engineer to join our friendly support team.

Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 per year

Location: Ferndown Office. - Permanent full-time or part-time

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced 1st line engineer to join our friendly support team. As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers on a daily basis, your communication skills must be very strong.

You will be responsible for remote support and site visits in the local area. You will be based at our Bournemouth office. This role is available on a full-time basis. Own car essential with mileage reimbursed.

Will Be Providing Support In

  • Windows 10, Mac OS, Chromebooks
  • iPads and Android tablets
  • Common user and device issues including networking and printing
  • Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace
  • VoIP phone systems

  • 1+ Years experience in an IT support role
  • Full clean driver's license
  • This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £59.30

Desirable Experience

  • Support ticket handling, including detailed note recording.
  • MDM solutions, group policy, software & printer deployment, photocopiers, wifi, networking & firewalls.
  • Working within the education sector.
