About the Role
Robert Half have partnered with a luxury retail organisation seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to deliver first-line technical support across the business, ensuring a high level of service for end users within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing 1st line support across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and core IT systems, including user provisioning, password resets, and access management
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues, resolving tickets efficiently via a service desk tool
- Logging, prioritising, and managing incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
- Escalating more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line teams where required
- Supporting Windows 10/11 environments and M365 applications
- Delivering a high level of end-user support, both remotely and in-person
- Assisting with device setup, onboarding, and general IT support across the business.

Experience
The successful 1st Line Support Engineer will have prior experience in a similar role, supporting Microsoft-based environments.
Key Skills and Experience
- 1 - 4 years experience within IT Support
- Proven experience in a 1st Line / Service Desk / IT Support role
- Strong hands-on experience with Office 365 / Microsoft 365
- Experience managing users within Active Directory and/or Azure AD
- Familiarity with ticketing/service desk systems and working to SLAs
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and user access issues
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
