We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a 1st Line Support Technician to join their growing Service Desk team, providing first-class technical support to a diverse client base.

The Role:
As part of the Service Desk team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality 1st line support while providing an excellent customer experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering 1st line technical support and triage for client incidents and service requests
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and user issues via telephone, remote support tools and email
- Logging, prioritising and managing tickets through the ITSM system, ensuring clients are kept informed throughout
- Escalating more complex issues to senior engineers where appropriate, while meeting agreed SLAs and quality standards
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you'll already have some commercial experience working within an IT Service Desk or Helpdesk environment and be looking to develop your career further.
A relevant IT qualification or degree is welcome, but just as importantly, you'll have gained commercial experience in a service desk environment.
You'll also bring:
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A calm, logical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology and a desire to continually learn and develop
