A2Dominion is a large housing association with a vision to provide homes people love to live in. Managing over 38,000 homes across London and southern England and serving more than 70,000 customers, every penny of surplus is reinvested into our charitable purpose: more homes and better services for the people who live in them.
We are at an important and exciting point in our ongoing transformation. Following a governance downgrade in 2024, we have invested considerable energy into our improvement plan, returned to profitability, and are now engaging with the Regulator of Social Housing on the regrade process. Alongside this, we have begun shaping a fresh corporate strategy that will refocus the organisation around its core social purpose. This is therefore an exciting time to join A2Dominion's Group Board; a time when the hard work of the past two years is showing real results, and when incoming Group Board Members will have a real say in shaping its longer-term strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are looking to appoint two new Non-Executive Group Board Members, ahead of two colleagues completing their maximum terms. We are seeking a Chair of our Governance, People & Remuneration Committee with senior leadership experience in HR, people and culture, and a Non-Executive Director to bring technology and digital change leadership experience to our Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee.
For both roles, we are looking for people with the confidence to challenge constructively, the curiosity to engage beyond their specialism, and a real appetite for the change ahead. We are keen to attract people with fresh perspectives and the broadest possible range of backgrounds to these roles, including people with lived experience of social housing.
