DESE Certified Substitute Teachers for the North Callaway R-1 School District are hired on a day to day basis. We use an internet/phone system (Aesop) to fill job vacancies.
To Be Eligible For Substitute Teaching, Candidate Must
Hold a DESE certified substitute certificate. To apply go to: http://dese.mo.gov (DESE requires "Official" Transcripts and finger printing.) Complete North Callaway's Application online at http://nc.k12.mo.us Complete required payroll documents Sign and return Acknowledgement of Understanding found in the Substitute Handbook View online mandatory training videos Be approved by the North Callaway R-1 School Board of Education.
