We’re seeking future team members for our 2026 BNY Apprenticeship Program with roles located in Manchester in hybrid positions. Program highlights: Our Apprentice program is focused on developing the future leaders of the financial services industry. You will be placed in a specific business role based on your strengths and interests, and be exposed to BNY's entire global franchise, providing rare insight into the operation of one of the world's largest banks. We have placement opportunities across several different business lines including, but not limited to Operations, Engineering and Markets. In each of these roles, you will work on high-priority initiatives and develop a comprehensive set of analytical and interpersonal skills. As part of a highly selective program, you will gain unparalleled exposure to the senior leadership of BNY, while receiving personalized career guidance and support from a dedicated mentor(s). Upon successful completion of the program, you will be considered for high impact roles in multiple businesses and functions. As part of the Apprenticeship Program you will study for a related qualification, this will either be a degree at a local University, a professional qualification or specific qualification relevant to your department. You will be given support and time ‘away from your desk’ to successfully complete your qualification. BNY will cover all training costs. The program will commence in November 2025. Candidates who have already completed their A levels are encouraged to apply and will be eligible to start employment at mutually convenient dates through 2025. A strong candidate possesses: Intellectual curiosity and interest in the developing skills within financial services Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Aptitude for analytical thinking and problem solving Collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global working environment Program Eligibility Three A levels (minimum B, C, C) or equivalent (predicted or achieved) Must not currently hold a related degree that is connected to the program criteria Must have lived in England for the previous three years Looking to start within a month Should not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future, in the region where they apply At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
