Company Overview

KKR is a leading global investment firm that offers alternative asset management as well as capital markets and insurance solutions. KKR aims to generate attractive investment returns by following a patient and disciplined investment approach, employing world-class people, and supporting growth in its portfolio companies and communities. KKR sponsors investment funds that invest in private equity, credit and real assets and has strategic partners that manage hedge funds. KKR’s insurance subsidiaries offer retirement, life and reinsurance products under the management of Global Atlantic Financial Group. References to KKR’s investments may include the activities of its sponsored funds and insurance subsidiaries.

KKR Capstone is KKR’s in-house value creation and operational improvement team. Capstone works alongside KKR investment teams and portfolio companies to identify and deliver initiatives that accelerate performance, support growth, and unlock operational value. The EMEA team partners with businesses across sectors and increasingly focuses on how AI and digital tools can create practical leverage both within Capstone’s day-to-day work and across the portfolio through the AI taskforce and broader AI value creation agenda.

Position Summary

An AI Enablement Intern in our London office will help KKR Capstone EMEA scale practical AI adoption across two complementary areas: internal Capstone enablement and AI value creation across the portfolio. The role will include developing reusable AI prompts, skills and playbooks, supporting team training and 1:1 coaching, helping coordinate the EMEA AI taskforce, tracking portfolio AI use cases and initiatives, and translating emerging AI tools into practical business applications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

As we generally operate in small teams, interns will play an active role from Day 1 and work directly with a senior Capstone sponsor. The role is designed as a force-multiplier model: the intern brings technical depth, experimentation capacity, and structured follow-through, while the sponsor provides business context, prioritisation, and access to both the Capstone team and relevant portfolio AI workstreams.

The internship will also provide a great opportunity to liaise with teams across KKR, Capstone colleagues, AI taskforce participants and, where appropriate, selected portfolio company stakeholders, while developing a practical understanding of how AI can be applied in a private equity value creation context.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reusable AI prompts, skills and workflow playbooks for Capstone and portfolio-related use cases
  • Support internal AI enablement through workshops, practical demos and 1:1 coaching for Capstone colleagues
  • Help coordinate the EMEA AI taskforce and portfolio AI value creation work, including preparing materials, tracking actions, and synthesising use cases, vendor/tool learnings and adoption examples
  • Turn learnings from Capstone and portfolio work into reusable assets, playbooks, case studies and templates for internal discussions and broader sharing
