Guggenheim Securities ("GS") is seeking an exceptional Analyst to join its Technology & Services Investment Banking group based in London.
Our London-based Technology & Services team is an integral part of GS' global franchise and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across Europe. The group advises clients on a broad range of financial and strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and private capital raises.
Graduate Analysts at GS are valued members of lean, high-performing deal teams. You will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions and strategic advisory assignments, gaining exposure to clients and helping to drive execution from day one. The role offers a highly dynamic environment that accelerates professional development through meaningful, hands-on experience on high-profile assignments.
In a client services business like ours, our people are the product, the service, and the offering. We invest heavily in professional development through best-in-class Investment Banking training—both formal and on-the-job—to build your professional toolkit across M&A process management, financial modelling, data analysis, commercial judgement, presentation skills, professional communication (verbal, written and virtual), negotiations, and more.
We are looking for ambitious, intellectually curious individuals with a strong work ethic who can excel in an unstructured environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued. The role is suited to candidates with a desire to build a long-term career in investment banking with a view to earning a promotion to Associate at the culmination of their Analyst program.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
