Role description:
Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme, designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You’ll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants you’ll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You’ll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
Role accountabilities:
Design & Construction Safety – CDM & Building Regulations Roles - Join our Design & Construction Safety Team, where we help manage and eliminate risks across all stages of construction projects, supporting sectors such as Mobility, Architecture/Urbanism, Energy, and Water.

You will assist in the delivery of project-related tasks, such as carrying out initial site visits, requesting, reviewing & identifying gaps in the preconstruction information, scope gap on adequate resources and sufficient time, identifying specialist consultants, supporting design development to ensure design and construction risks are eliminated or reduced to their lowest manageable level. Supporting effective buildability and developing health and safety files for project completion and handover.
We are recruiting for two roles within this team:
CDM (Construction, Design & Management)
Building Regulations (BR)
An understanding of design, engineering, CDM, and health & safety principles is helpful but not required. Please note that the site work element is critical to the learning and development within this team, as such you may be expected to travel and be available for site work for a large proportion of your time.
Accepted Degrees:
- CDM: BSc (or higher) in an Engineering-related degree
- BR: BSc (or higher) in Building/Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying related degree
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will be graduating in 2025 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- You must be willing and able to travel frequently and stay away from home as required. A significant portion of your time will involve site work, which may require extended periods away from your home office.
