Graduate Engineer – Rail (Information Management)
Location: Belfast Discipline: MEng Mechanical Engineering / MEng/MSc in Computing / MSc in BIM for Smart Engineering

We are seeking Mechanical Engineering or Computing graduate candidates for our Rail team in Belfast who are eager to learn and thrive in a collaborative environment. You’ll apply your skills to diverse clients and projects, working alongside digital leaders, engineers, and information management experts on some of the most exciting initiatives in transport and infrastructure.
[Rail – Information Management Team] Our BIM (Building Information Modelling), digital innovation, and information management team specialises in transforming traditional processes into smart, efficient, and sustainable solutions. As a Graduate Engineer in this field, you’ll work closely on cutting-edge projects, learning from experts, gaining hands-on experience, and laying a strong foundation for your future.
We are currently recruiting graduates for the following qualifications in Belfast:
- MEng Mechanical Engineering
- MEng/MSc in Computing
- MSc in BIM for Smart Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day activities may include:
- Providing BIM Digital Advisory and strategy support to project teams.
- Coordinating and reviewing BIM models for accuracy.
- Implementing ISO19650 standards and managing common data environments (e.g., BIM360 Docs).
- Assisting in digital collaboration workflows for project efficiency.
- Exploring BIM software solutions to enhance project delivery.
- Producing engineering models and technical drawings.
- Acting as a BIM Coordinator, resolving design challenges.
- Collaborating with UK and international teams.

Requirements & Criteria
Academic Qualifications
You will have (or be in your final year of):
- MEng Mechanical Engineering (2:2 or equivalent minimum).
- MEng/MSc in Computing (2:2 or equivalent minimum).
- MSc in BIM for Smart Engineering (2:2 or equivalent minimum).
