We are seeking graduates for our Civil teams who are adaptable and eager to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory consultancy. You will thrive in a collaborative work environment, applying your skills to a variety of clients and projects.

What You’ll Do
Graduate Civil Engineering Role Highlights
Your role will involve working on exciting, innovative projects across our specialist engineering teams. These include:
- Bridges: Structural inspection, assessment, design, strengthening, and project management.
- Airport Planning & Advisory: Master planning, capacity analysis, terminal/repaside modelling, and sustainability advice (including eVTOL/AAM and sustainable aviation fuels).
- Airfield Engineering: Infrastructure design, airfield modelling, and discipline coordination for major UK and international airports.
- Maritime Engineering: Port inspections, concept/design/rehabilitation of ports and coastal facilities, with expertise in the energy transition.
- Pavement Engineering: Pavement assessment, design, and asset management for aviation, highways, streetscapes, and ports.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Bridge Engineering
- Conduct inspections using specialist equipment (pontons, underbridge gantries, mobile platforms).
- Organise site visits, structural design/assessment, and asset management.
- Perform calculations, supervise contractors, and support project management/tendering.
Airport Planning & Advisory
- Deliver high-quality international airport plans, including airside/terminal modelling.
- Conduct capacity demand analysis, bid preparation, and research on emerging markets (e.g., sustainable aviation).
- Complete tasks and ensure proposal bids for future projects are prepared.
Airfield Engineering
- Support senior engineers in airfield infrastructure design (runways, taxiways, aprons etc.).
- Produce technical reports, specifications, and 3D modelling for projects in the Middle East/Africa/Asia.
- Collaborate across disciplines (pavement, drainage) and support field visits globally.
Maritime Engineering
- Inspect/repair UAE UK ports; plan/design maritime infrastructure (stage and detailed design).
- Undertake site visits, prepare technical drawing/reports, and provide financial project management.
Pavement Engineering
- Conduct pavement inspections, designs, and asset repair/maintenance.
- Draft repair/specification/drawing plans and support technical advisory commissions.
Graduate Development Programme (2-Year Framework)

Requirements
Qualifications
- Graduated in 2025/30 with at least a 2:2 degree in Applied/Relevant Engineering, Surveying, or Built Environment disciplines.
- Note: Only Master’s degrees are accepted for the Bridges team.
- Must have passioned for engineering (desire for infrastructure, urban design, creativity, and problem-solving).
- Must complete the mandatory 3-part process:
- WSP online application form, responding all questions.
- Aptitude skill-enablement test if selected.
- Panel interviews to assess fit/relevance.
Start Date & Experience
- Star no earlier than April or September 2027.
