Programme overview:
At Schroders, our two-year Graduate Programme provides a unique opportunity to gain broad experience across our award-winning teams. Based in one of our Cazenove Capital offices, which are in London, Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham, Chester, Manchester, Leeds, and Edinburgh, this structured programme is designed to develop your skills, expand your industry knowledge, and prepare you for a successful career in Wealth Management.
Who we're looking for:
We are looking for graduates who are passionate about Wealth Management, resilient in a dynamic environment, and eager to build lasting relationships with clients from all walks of life. You will excel if you are analytical, proactive, and truly client-focused, with the curiosity to keep learning and the confidence to communicate with integrity and empathy. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, be interested in world events and markets, and have a strong desire to solve problems, innovate, and help clients reach their financial goals.
Required skills and capabilities:
- Numerical ability: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex data using critical thinking, identify errors and draw meaningful insights.
- General commercial awareness: Broad awareness of world events, enabling you to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and articulate your reasoning.
- Growth mindset & curiosity: Proactive, eager to learn and adapt, with a positive mindset and commitment to self-development and learning.
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt your style for different audiences and comfortable speaking to clients in person or over the phone.
- Innovation & problem-solving: Analytical thinker who can understand client issues, adapt quickly, and use available tools and knowledge to develop practical and effective solutions.
- Collaboration & relationship building: Empathetic and a strong listener, able to work well within teams, build rapport easily, and foster teamwork and trust.

The team:
Cazenove Capital is the dedicated Wealth Management business of the Schroder Group in the UK, renowned for providing specialist financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, charities, and their advisers. Leveraging the investment expertise of both Cazenove Capital and Schroders, as well as carefully selected external providers, we deliver leading portfolio management, banking, and wealth planning services. Our longstanding client relationships and commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity have established us as a leader in private wealth management.
As a graduate, you will gain hands-on experience through a broad programme across core areas of our Wealth business while based in one of our Private Client and Wealth Planning teams.
You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work closely with clients, and develop a strong understanding of investments, financial planning, and client relationship management.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications we're looking for:
- An honours degree or equivalent - we're not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade, however a STEM or finance related degree would be beneficial
- You will be in your final year of study or already graduated
- A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- The ability to understand our target audiences
