Our Summer Internship Programme
An eight-week internship taking place June through August, designed to provide students with a challenging, meaningful and supportive experience that closely mirrors full-time BlackRock Analyst responsibilities.
About the Programme
- Orientation: A thorough overview of the firm with insights from senior leaders
- Training: On-the-job mentorship and day-to-day responsibilities tailored to your team’s work
- Speaker Series: Leadership talks and industry discussions
- Mentoring & Networking: Paired mentorship and opportunities to engage with employee networks
- Post-Programme Opportunity: If you enjoy the experience, consider the Full-Time Analyst Programme upon graduation
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Candidates must be in their penultimate year of studies, graduating from undergraduate or master’s degree programmes in 2028
- Degree Discipline: Open to all fields of study
- Language: Candidates must have a local language proficiency for Continental Europe roles (English suffices for Budapest or Private Markets Investing roles in Zurich)

Programme Rules
- Single Programme Application: Candidates can apply for only one BlackRock internship programme:
- Example: One option for the Summer Internship Programme + up to two roles (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling)
- Note: Both roles must be applied through a single programme application
- Withdrawal Policy: If candidates withdraw, they cannot reapply to the same programme in 2026
