Who You Are

You’re a proven supply chain leader with a defence/aerospace specialisation, capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-consequence environment. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience leading complex, high-stakes procurement programmes

  • Ownership of sourcing, contracting, and supplier management for critical hardware in regulated defence/aerospace sectors.

• Deep knowledge of aerospace/production cycles

  • Seasoned in managing long-lead items, including propulsion components, flight electronics, military avionics, and advanced materials—each requiring tight provider collaboration and compliance.

• Expertise in regulated environments

  • Proven track record in export controls, ITAR/ Dinge controls, and UK national security frameworks, ensuring due diligence in every deal.

• Building supplier networks from scratch

  • Experience developing or scaling procurement functions, transforming raw supplier networks into reliable, compliant, and high-performance relationships.

• Technical + commercial awareness

  • The ability to challenge engineering priorities while advocating for schedule, cost, and compliance~~, ensuring pragmatic solutions.

• Resilience under pressure

  • Physically accountable for securing limited, mission-critical supply chains where priority overtrades principle is non-negotiable.

• Mission commitment
