Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional evidence-based care to neonatal patients.
- Formulate and execute nurse practitioner interventions autonomously within legal and ethical frameworks.
- Enhance patient outcomes through advanced clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
- Collate and utilise patient data to inform shared decision-making and care plans.
- Support our team with a leadership mindset, contributing to education, supervision, and staff development.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and advocacy for patients/families.
- Engage transparently with the multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians and allied health professionals.
- Collaborate with nursing colleagues, families, and other service stakeholders.

Person Specification & Competencies
Key Requirements
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the NMC in neonatal care.
- Valid PVG Scheme membership for the child regulatory group (established, or prospective application).
- Experience of advanced clinical practice with neonates/postnatal patients.
- Proficiency in autonomous practice, clinical assessment, management, and education.
- Demonstrable experience as a compulsory trained neonatal nurse.
