About the Role
The Acute and Diagnostic Admin Team at NHS Dumfries & Galloway are seeking to recruit a motivated and highly organised individual to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive administrator to support the Management Team by providing high-level administrative support, ensuring key information is available to inform decision-making and maximise the effective use of management time.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the service.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Management Team
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of information to support decision-making
- Assisting with the coordination and supporting implementation/progression of initiatives
- Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including Senior Managers, Medical staff and Administrative colleagues

Based at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Can quickly learn and adapt to complex systems and processes
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Is able to prioritise workload and multitask effectively
- Brings a positive, flexible and proactive ‘can do’ attitude
