Job Opportunity: Medical Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) – School of Population Health Sciences, Usher Institute, Mackenzie Medical Centre
Grade: UE04 – £26,093 – £28,778 per annum (pro rata for 30-hour workload)

About the Role
This part-time (30 hours per week) position offers the chance to work in a busy, friendly medical practice within the School of Population Health Sciences/Usher Institute/Mackenzie Medical Centre, providing general medical services to a patient list of 8,600 residents in the southeast Edinburgh area.
Practice Team:
- 10 GPs
- 2 nurses
- 8 medical receptionists
- 1 medical secretary
- 1 IT/Assistant Manager
- 1 Practice Manager
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent general medical reception and administration support.
- Manage front-of-house operations, including patient queries and appointments.
- Work collaboratively within the medical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold high standards of professionalism.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Working Arrangements:
- Monday to Friday, up until 6:15 PM
- 100% campus-based role (no remote working component)
