Freelance AutoCAD 2D Designer – Drywall & Ceiling Systems
We are looking for an experienced Freelance AutoCAD 2D Designer to support our growing workload on commercial drywall and ceiling projects.
This is a flexible freelance role, requiring a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your own location, although applicants based in London or the surrounding areas are preferred for occasional meetings and project coordination.
The Role
You will be responsible for producing accurate AutoCAD drawings for drywall partitions, suspended ceilings, and associated interior fit-out works. Working closely with our project management team, you'll prepare detailed construction and shop drawings, revise designs as projects progress, and ensure all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience producing AutoCAD drawings for drywall and suspended ceiling systems.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out and construction detailing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to work independently.
- Own licensed copy of AutoCAD.
- Own computer/workstation suitable for professional CAD work.
- Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
