Job Title: 2D Stickman Animator Needed — New YouTube Channel (Test Basis)
Job Type: Part-time to start, potential to move to full-time / long-term
Overview
We're testing a new YouTube channel concept and looking for a 2D stickman-style animator to help us produce it. This is a new channel, so we're starting small to prove the concept works before scaling up — but there's real potential for this to become an ongoing, long-term full-time role if the channel performs well.
Style Reference — Please Watch These Two Channels Before Applying
- MACK
- Stickly
We want a visual style that closely matches these two channels specifically. If you haven't produced this exact style of stick-figure animation before, please don't apply — we're not looking for general 2D animation or character design experience, we're looking for this specific look.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Content Details
Topic: short, story-driven videos about real historical figures — inventors, a ---------- discoveries, founders, and similar "person behind the story" content (topics will be provided by us)
Video length: 8–10 minutes to start (may increase once we're confident in the format)
Upload frequency: 2–3 videos per week initially
Format: one main recurring host character who appears in every episode (introduces/reacts to the story), plus additional supporting characters that change depending on the episode's subject — same structure as MACK and Stickly
What We Need From You
- Direct links to specific videos or clips you've personally animated in this exact style (stick-figure explainer / narrative animation). General portfolio links or reels covering many different styles are not useful to us — we only want to see work that matches what MACK and Stickly are doing.
- For each sample, please include a timestamp of a specific scene so we can see your work directly, along with confirmation that you personally animated it (not just voiced, edited, or scripted it).
- Your rate for a finished 8–10 minute video — either as a flat per-video price or a per-minute rate, whichever you prefer to quote.
- Your estimated turnaround time per video.
- Confirmation of your availability for 2-3 videos/week on an ongoing basis.
