2D Toon Boom Harmony Character Animators – The Charactershop
We’re setting up for a mixed-media children’s series, produced by 3Megos, focusing on the environment, climate change, and sustainability. We are looking for mid to senior-level, 2D Toon Boom Harmony character animators to join our in-house team in Worcestershire.
As an animator, you will be responsible for bringing our core characters to life. The production pipeline requires quick turnarounds, so excellent communication and attention to detail are essential. Applicants with a passion for learning more about the world are encouraged.
Work Model
- Roles will be in-house at our Worcester studio – please do not apply if you are looking for remote or hybrid working.
- Fixed-term contract, starting mid-September 2026 (6 months)
- Full time, Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM
Responsibilities
- Study the production bible to fully understand each character and the show’s animation style, ensuring a consistent look throughout the series.
- Deliver high-quality character animation while meeting fast-paced production deadlines as part of a team.
- Apply and act on directed notes and feedback from Directors and Lead Animators appropriately.
- Follow a structured workflow and filing system set by department heads.
- Update trackers to keep all departments informed of progress on allocated shot lists.
- Maintain open communication to ensure all resources are available, flagging potential delays early and requesting necessary support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
