About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, technically skilled 2nd Line IT Engineer to ensure Fuse’s systems run efficiently. Your expertise will sustain our applications, infrastructure, and end-user hardware—allowing us to concentrate on revolutionising the energy sector.

Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the full technical environment across our two office locations, resolving issues end-to-end from Google Workspace to firewall policies.
Responsibilities
You will maintain critical systems every team relies on daily, closely collaborating with IT and engineering teams to optimise, automate, and scale our IT infrastructure.
- Work across London-based offices, external sites, and cloud presence
- Administer SaaS applications including (but not limited to):
- Google Workspace
- Iru
- Revolut People
- Linear
- Utilise AI tooling to automate manual IT tasks
- Own full hardware troubleshooting responsibilities, encompassing:
- Laptops
- Meeting room AV systems
- Printers
- Provide 2nd-line IT support, including staff onboarding/offboarding

Requirements
- Proven experience in 2nd-line IT operations
- Experience working in fast-moving SaaS-based IT environments
- Capable scripting in Python, Bash (or equivalent)
- Hands-on comfort supporting end-user hardware (Windows/macOS)
- Strong debugging skills + willingness to expand into new domains
Desirable
- Experience with AWS cloud or relevant cloud certifications
- Comprehensive understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
- Certifications in networking or security (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet NSE)
- Degree in a related technical or IT field
