2nd Line IT Engineer

2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Integral 365 | Knaresborough (Office-Based, Full-Time)

Integral 365 is growing fast, and we're looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our team in Knaresborough. You'll be providing technical support to clients across Yorkshire and internationally, requiring adaptability, organisation, and a ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


The Role

  • Provide 2nd line technical support, resolving escalated tickets from 1st line
  • Work directly with clients to troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues
  • Support and maintain traditional networking environments, including:
    • DHCP
    • DNS
    • Switching
    • Routing
    • VPNs
    • Firewalls
  • Support and maintain on-premise and virtual server environments
  • Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including:
    • Device management
    • Conditional access
    • Identity and access administration
  • Liaise with 2nd line/senior engineers for complex problems
  • Maintain accurate ticket records and documentation
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Proven 2nd line IT support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments and common business applications
  • Solid knowledge of traditional networking including DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, and server administration
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, covering:
    • Device enrolment
    • Policy management
    • Identity administration
  • Ability to prioritise tasks under pressure in a busy environment
  • Exceptional communication skills for direct client interaction
