2nd Line Support Analyst

As a 2nd Line Support Analyst, you'll oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in supporting the technology needs of the business and resolving any system-related issues promptly.

Description

  • Manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitor system activities and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with the Technology department to implement system upgrades and improvements.
  • Support users with technical queries and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain system security protocols.
  • Document system processes and create user guides where required.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for system-related support and services.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades to existing systems.

Profile

  • Experience providing first and second-line IT support within a business environment, including the management and resolution of incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
  • Experience using an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, to manage incidents, requests, changes, and asset records.
  • Experience maintaining accurate IT asset and configuration records, including hardware deployment, tracking, and lifecycle administration.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and associated technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and other cloud-based services.
  • Experience supporting end-user devices, enterprise applications, and collaboration tools within a corporate environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across desktop, mobile, cloud, and network services.
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation, procedures, knowledge-based articles, and user guidance materials.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and support providers to assist with incident resolution and service delivery.

Job Offer

  • A salary ranging from £36000 to £40000, dependent on the level of experience.
