2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Trailblaze IT have been providing IT services to SMBs & the education sector for over 11 years. We are looking for an experienced 2nd line engineer to join our friendly support team.

Salary - £26,000 - £32,000 per year

Ferndown Office - Permanent Full-time/Part-time

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our friendly support team. This role involves providing 2nd line remote and onsite support to our customers. As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers on a daily basis, your communication skills must be very strong.

This role would suit a candidate with experience in 2nd line support. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, and can be available'school term time only' if preferred.

Standard working hours are Monday - Friday 8am-4.30pm

30 days holiday, including bank holidays

You Will Have The Technical Ability To Support

  • check MDM for iPads
  • check Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace
  • check VoIP phone systems

Essential Skills

  • check Able to prioritise and manage your own work load
  • check Able to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues

Requirements

  • check 2+ Years experience in an IT support role
  • check Full clean drivers license
  • check Good documentation skills
  • check Strong ticket handling ability, including detailed note recording
  • check This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check at the cost of £59.30

Desirable Experience

  • check Server 2016 onwards, Active Directory, PowerShell, Backups, Hyper-V, VMWare and Failover Clustering
