Job Description
We're looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to provide expert assistance to our clients in a hybrid role combining remote work with on-site visits across London.
As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting our diverse customer base. This is a hybrid position that blends the convenience of working from home with the excitement of face-to-face interaction during on-site visits. You'll ensure our clients’ IT systems run smoothly while delivering a top-notch service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide 2nd line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues remotely and on-site.
- System Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve incidents, escalate complex issues when necessary, and implement solutions to enhance IT infrastructure.
- Client Engagement: Travel to customer sites across London to provide hands-on support and build strong client relationships.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support activities, solutions, and technical documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the 1st and 3rd line support teams to deliver a seamless service experience.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: At least 2 years in a 2nd line IT support role, with exposure to customer-facing environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of networking concepts: (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud technologies: (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working remotely and traveling to customer sites across London. A valid UK driver’s license is highly desirable.
